DERMAL / LIP FILLERS

Dermal filler treatment involves injecting a gel-like substance (hyaluronic acid) into the skin to add volume and smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. The dermal filler adds volume and boost collagen. The most common areas treated with dermal fillers include the lips, cheeks, chin, and tear trough(under-eye area). They can also be used to enhance facial contours and restore lost volume due to aging.

Dermal fillers are commonly used for lip augmentation. They are also used for 8-point liquid face lift, tech neck, neck tightening, smile lines, nasolabial folds, temple filler, jaw filler and hand filler. Please read Q&A below.

Q&A

Q. When do I start seeing results?

A. You may start to see results immediately after your dermal filler treatment, but it's important to keep in mind that the full effects may take a few days to fully develop. This is because the filler needs time to settle into the skin and integrate with the surrounding tissues. Additionally, some swelling and bruising may occur after the treatment, which can temporarily affect the appearance of the treated area. However, once swelling subsides and the filler settles, you should be able to see the full results of your treatment in approximately 2 weeks.

Q. How painful are the dermal filler injections?

A. Dermal filler injections are generally considered to be a low-pain procedure, most people experience only minor discomfort during the injection process. The filler is administered using a small needle, and while some people may experience mild swelling or bruising afterward, these side effects typically resolve within a few days.

Q. How long do the results last?

A. Dermal filler results can last anywhere from six months to two years, depending on the type of fillers used and the area of the face treated. It's important to note that individual results may vary, and maintenance may be necessary to maintain the desired look.

Q. Is there a downtime after dermal filler?

A. The amount of downtime after dermal filler varies depending on the type and quantity of filler used. Swelling, redness, and bruising is expected after filler injections. However, most patients can return to their regular activities within a day or two. To minimize swelling and bruising, it is recommended to avoid extensive physical activity for the first 24-48 hours after treatment.

Q. Which brand fillers do you use?

A. We use Revanesse Versa & Teoxane RHA, both of which are FDA approved.
